The Power Move

This is a perfect example of the power move in golf. On the left is John Cook on the right the great Tiger Woods their hands are in about the same place before impact yet cook (a short hitter on tour) has almost completely released the club thus reducing speed in the impact area.
Tiger on the other hand maintains a fully cocked position almost the same as he was at the top of his backswing, as he comes into the hitting zone this produces tremendous speed.
So how is this position achieved ??? Well go chop a tree down and chop almost at ground level. Film it if you want and then review it. The results will surprise you as your unconscious
mind produces the power needed in order chop down the tree and your position would then resemble tigers but in golf your conscious mind is trying to hit the ball from the top of the backswing thus in most cases the club is released too early.
By the way you probably will need to acquire some kind of permission from your local council before taking down trees.

Having recently cut down several large conifers (using a husqvarna) and the next day beating the crap outta a large bucket, I must tell you this tip has altered my life! AS YOU KNOW I have always been an early releaser (with good hands?) ripple
