While Davis Love appears to have put some weight on,Tom Lehman is skinny as a rail but each in their own way has brought their game up a notch. Davis with sharp crisp iron shots and great putting while Lehman wins the best hooker contest. Live by the hook and die by the hook but this was ugly. Thanks to ABC none were allowed to view the finish and it's just as well I suppose. You'd think you were watching the US Amateur!! Hope my great friend Birdy Wayne was watching. down the fine French player David Howell. By far the biggest upset of the day was Zachary Johnson besting Retief Gooseman 3 and 2. The afternoon matches are underway so this blogger intends to throw back a few silver bullets and a big fat burger with fries. More Later..MW
