Singh's putting woes

It's frightening to think how many more wins Vijay Singh would have if he were even slightly better than average with the putter. Sometimes watching him putt is like watching Shaquille O'Neal shoot a free throw. Singh's 50 career wins worldwide, including one here last year over Ernie Els, is a testament to just how good the rest of his game is. And if it wasn't for a missed 9-footer for birdie on the first playoff hole at the Mercedes, we would likely be talking about win No. 51 -- yesterday i turned on the TV late in the final round just as they showed VJ miss one from 18 inches on his final hole , yet he still managed to finish 5th, is he destined to become the next Ben Hogan, a superlative ball striker who eventually has great difficulty even drawing the putter back..
